Depending on which software you are using there are several methods of reversing an image, in other words making a mirror image. In this post I will be explaining how to do a mirror image in Microsoft Office Publisher. As I don’t know how advanced you might be with Microsoft Software Publisher I will be explaining each step as I would explain it to my Mom (she gets lost when it comes to using software), so please bear with me as it will be a detailed post.
Step 1- Open a new publication on MS Publisher.
Step 2- Click on the ‘Insert’ tab which is highlighted in red rectangle below.
Step 3- Click on the ‘Picture’ icon as shown below.
Step 4- Browse for the image you want to insert and click insert.
Step 5- Once you inserted the image, click on the ‘Home’ tab which is highlighted in the red rectangle below.
Step 5- Click on the image you inserted to activate the ‘Rotate’ button. Once the ‘Rotate’ button is activated, click on it.
Step 6- Select the ‘Flip Horizontal’ from the drop down list shown as below…
Step 7- Now your image is a mirror image, you can either print it directly from MS Publisher, or you can save it as a reversed image if you’d like to print with some other software. To save it as reversed image, right click on the image and select ‘Save as Picture’ to save it (red rectangle).
