Turkish Savory Cheesecake (Peynirli Kek)

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 pound feta - crumbled
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 bunch dill - chopped
  • 1 bunch parsley - chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a bundt pan with butter.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and baking soda. Add rest of ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until combined. Do not over-stir. Batter will be very thick. Spoon batter into bundt pan and bake for about 70 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean, and the top is golden brown. Let cool for five minutes, then turn out onto wire cooling rack.
