Our free printable calendar for 2020 is ready for download! 2020 is the Year of Perfect Vision, so let us help you reach your goals with our free calendar & planner!
Long long ago, in the days before smart phones and snowflakes, back when people looked up instead of down, and at a time when my hair was thicker and my waistline was thinner, I had a memory like Fort Knox.
I remembered everything.
I thought nothing of it. It was normal, and I thought it would be like that forever.
It’s hard to foresee the traitorous abandonment of one’s faculties while still swaddled in the warm embrace of youth.
But then one day, you wake up with a pain that won’t quit for 2 weeks…or longer.
And you realize that, holy crap, you can’t really see very well. How and when did that happen?
And what was that you said? Speak up! I can’t hear you!
Now, I’m only in my late-middle 40s (I’m still a few days away from 47, so that still counts as middle 40s, dammit!), and I know a lot of you are reading this and thinking, “Oh, you ain’t seen nuthin‘ yet, you whippersnapper!”
But I’m starting to understand.
And of all the failings and fizzlings, both inside and out, the one that irks me the most is my slipping memory.
When I was young, I used to razz my mother for her forgetfulness.
Now I am my mother.
As far back as I can remember, she has kept a calendar pinned inside a cupboard door on which she writes everything she needs to do.
I never understood the need for such a crutch. Everything I ever needed to know or remember was always perfectly accessible in my beautifully functioning brain.
My brain’s treacherous rebellion happened to coincide with trying to grow a blog into a business and a boy into a man while also fighting to keep the house from falling down around us and the yard from turning to jungle.
Important things were slipping through the cracks, and I needed a way to keep everything straight.
I needed a crutch.
Google Calendar became my crutch. With Handan’s help, I started mapping out my life, months into the future.
I can no longer survive without it.
But many folks still prefer a calendar they can touch, and for you, Handan has created this beautiful free printable calendar for 2020.
So go ahead and print one out for 2020.
20/20 is perfect vision, and this can be your perfect year.
Just don’t forget where you put it between now and January…
